Pokopia Building Guide: All Techniques

Building guide for Pokemon Pokopia. Block houses, kits, storage, farms, water sources, watermills, electricity, humidity, hot springs, and habitat relocation.

Author: Pokopia Guide Team

Basic Building Techniques

Collect furniture and blocks to build. Set up a base near your construction site. Start with the framework when building structures. Increase your inventory slots. Prevent falls with the ZL button. Easier to build using mouse controls. Magnet Rise is useful to have.

Collect Furniture and Blocks Before Building

When building, start by collecting the furniture and blocks you need. You can gather furniture and blocks from the Daily Shop, by trading with Vespiquen, or on Dream Island.

Also, remember that you can duplicate furniture you've collected by taking a photo and using the 3D printer at the Pokémon Center.

Building Kits are Recommended if You're Not Particular

If you aren't too picky about the design, use the Building Kits sold in the shop to build houses and other structures. You won't need to come up with a design yourself; just provide the necessary materials and have the Pokémon build it for you to get a high-quality home.

You Can Change the Color of Furniture and Blocks

You can change the color of furniture and blocks by using Color Balloons or by asking Smeargle. Furniture that can have its color changed is identified by a brush icon.

Build a Base Near Your Construction Site

When building, you will need various materials and crafting. Traveling far to craft items takes time, so set up a temporary base near your construction site with crafting tables, storage boxes, and furnaces. Additionally, if you are working on a large-scale project, placing a Ditto's House nearby is convenient when starting the game.

Start with the framework when constructing buildings

When building large structures like houses, start by building the framework first. Without understanding the overall scale, you won't be able to gauge the amount of materials needed or the visual balance. For the framework, "Mysterious Stone" is recommended because its grid pattern is easy to see. Mysterious Stones can be obtained in large quantities at Glittering Floating Island.

Place blocks evenly with ZL+A

By placing blocks while holding the ZL button and pressing the A button, you can arrange blocks evenly both vertically and horizontally. This is useful when creating foundations or frameworks.

Increasing Inventory Slots

When building, you will often carry a large amount of furniture and blocks, so be sure to increase your inventory slots with "Bag Organization Tips." Additionally, if you have a Pokémon with the "Storage" skill, such as Gulpin, the amount you can carry will increase even further.

Sub-Bags are also useful

Purchasing a "Sub-Bag" from the shop allows you to build while displaying a portion of your inventory on the screen. This allows you to quickly switch to other materials, improving construction efficiency.

Prevent Falling with the ZL Button

When building in high places, moving while holding the ZL button will prevent you from stepping off blocks and falling. This saves you the significant hassle of having to climb back up after a fall, so keep it in mind.

Easier Building with Mouse Controls

Using mouse controls allows you to place or destroy blocks anywhere on the screen without your character having to physically move to that spot. While there are some limitations, it enables intuitive building, making construction work much more efficient once you get the hang of it.

Magnet Rise is Convenient

By using "Magnet Rise," which can be unlocked after clearing the game, you can transform into Magnemite and fly freely through the air. This makes building much easier as you won't need to create scaffolding for high-altitude work. It is recommended to aim for clearing the story first before diving deep into construction.

Prepare Ladders if You Don't Have It

If you want to build without Magnet Rise, it's a good idea to make ladders. You can reach high walls just by climbing them, making it useful for moving between high places. However, keep in mind that as the height increases, you will need more materials for the ladders.

It's easier to renovate using a Construction Kit house as a base

In Pokopia Pokemon, by using a Construction Kit, even beginners can build a nice-looking block house. By renovating a house made with a Construction Kit—such as expanding it using the same materials—you can also express your own originality.

Construction Kits can be purchased at the Shop

Construction Kits for the Block House can be purchased at the Pokémon Center Shop. If you plan on expanding or renovating, buy multiple kits to ensure you have plenty of building materials.

Manage Items Collectively

Building a warehouse in Pokopia makes it easier to manage items like materials in a single location. It prevents situations where you lose track of what is stored where, so it's highly recommended to build one.

Convenient to Label with Item Frame Frames

Attach an item frame near your storage boxes to make it clear what is inside each one. Being able to identify what you need from outside the box significantly reduces the stress of searching for items.

How to Build a Warehouse

*Note: This explains how to build a simple warehouse.

  1. Prepare Big Storage Box Big Storage Boxes and Frame Frames
  2. Line up the Storage Boxes and Frame Frames
  3. Sort items to complete

Prepare Big Storage Box Big Storage Boxes and Frame Frames

Required Items / How to get recipes

  • Big Storage Box Big Storage Box: Reward for registering 30 Pokémon in the Pokédex
  • Frame Frame: First appraisal of a Small Lost Item

Before starting to build the warehouse, prepare "Big Storage Box Big Storage Boxes" to hold items and "Frame Frames" to make the contents easy to understand. The number of boxes depends on how many categories you want to sort your items into. Note that normal Storage Boxes are not suitable for a warehouse as they only hold 20 types of items.

Power Your Town Without Spoiling the Scenery

Underground power lines are a method of running electrical wires hidden beneath the ground. Since utility poles don't appear above ground, you can preserve your town's scenery without it looking cluttered.

How to Make Underground Power Lines

Prepare a generator and utility poles

Dig a hole for the power lines to pass through

Note: Ensure the top of the utility pole is no more than 2 blocks away from the surface

Place the utility poles

Place electrical furniture on the surface

Prepare a Power Machine and Utility Poles

Required Items & How to Get Recipes

Power Machine: Construction kits are sold after clearing Bleak Beach Town.

Utility Pole: Pick up in front of the Thermal Power Machine in Bleak Beach Town.

First, prepare the Power Machine and utility poles needed to supply electricity. Since the Power Machine must be built using a construction kit, place it in a location where it won't obstruct other buildings. Using wind or hydroelectric power

Travel Long Distances by Gliding from High Places

Required Moves: Water Absorb, Glide, Waterfall | Required Materials: Blocks ×20–30, Fresh Water Fresh Water ×1

A Pokopia Pokemon gliding platform allows you to travel long distances by using Waterfall on water flowing from the top of stacked blocks, followed by Gliding. This is a useful method of transportation before unlocking Magnet Rise.

Note: It May Ruin the Scenery

While gliding platforms are easy to build, they are large structures that may ruin the town's scenery. If this concerns you, you'll need to get creative, such as building it hidden behind a mountain.

How to Make

Find a place to build Near the center of the map is recommended. Stack blocks. Pour water from the top to complete.

Find a place to build First, find a place to build your gliding platform. Building it as close to the center of the area as possible will allow you to fly to any location. Additionally, it's a good idea to create a pool-like area to catch the water so it doesn't spread when you pour it. Stack blocks Once you've decided on a location, stack blocks directly beneath you. Depending on the location, about 20 to 30 blocks should provide sufficient height. Pour water from the top to complete Once you've stacked the blocks to a sufficient height, use Fresh Water at the very top to let the water flow down. After that, just go down, use Waterfall to climb up, and jump out to glide.

View the Entire Town with the Monitoring Camera

By installing a "Monitoring Camera" in the sky, you can view the entire town at any time via the camera function. It is recommended for checking the town's landscape or when working on large-scale construction.

How to Make an Aerial Camera

Stack blocks If it's too high, the scenery will appear blue. Install a Monitoring Camera. Break the stacked blocks.

Stacking blocks

Prepare a Monitoring Camera and several dozen blocks, then stack them directly beneath you. Any type of block is fine since you will destroy them after installing the camera. Monitoring Cameras can be purchased at the Pokemon Center shop.

Scenery appears blue if too high

In Pokopia, objects that are far away will appear blue regardless of their original color. Since this would defeat the purpose of an aerial camera, stack the blocks to the maximum height where the area you want to overlook does not turn blue.

Installing the Monitoring Camera

Place the Monitoring Camera on top of the stacked blocks. At this point, it is recommended to press the + button, select the camera, and check how the view looks through the Monitoring Camera.

Breaking the stacked blocks

Finally, break the stacked blocks while leaving the Monitoring Camera in place.

Storage Tips and Methods

Use Big Storage Box Big Storage Boxes Sort using Frame Frames Place boxes containing materials next to the Crafting Table Entrust items to Pokemon skilled at "Storage" Expand your Bag Collect dropped items using the Everyone's Box Exchange unnecessary items via Trading

There are various storage tips in Pokopia, such as utilizing Big Storage Box Big Storage Boxes and sorting with Frame Frames. Additionally, entrusting items to Pokemon skilled at "Storage" or expanding your Bag can also help with item organization.

Use Big Storage Box Big Storage Boxes

Big Storage Box Big Storage Boxes can store three times as many items as regular Storage Boxes. We recommend using Big Storage Box Big Storage Boxes to organize your items as you collect more materials.

Obtain the Recipe by Befriending 30 Pokémon

The recipe for the Big Storage Box Big Storage Box can be obtained by registering 30 Pokémon in your Pokédex. If you haven't reached that number yet, start by creating habitats to fill up your Pokédex.

Use Item Frame Frames for Sorting

Item Frame Frames allow you to display any item on a wall. Placing them near Storage Boxes makes it easier to keep track of what's inside. Additionally, you can attach Item Frame Frames directly to Big Storage Box Big Storage Boxes.

Obtain the Recipe by Appraising a Small Lost Item for the First Time

The recipe for the Item Frame Frame can be obtained when you appraise a Small Lost Item for the first time. Small Lost Items can be found by breaking glowing blocks using Rock Smash.

Place Material Boxes Next to the Crafting Table

By placing a storage box next to a crafting table, you can use the items inside the storage box as materials. This saves you the trouble of manually taking items out of the storage box, so it is generally recommended to place them adjacent to each other.

Up to 4 Storage Boxes Can Be Placed Adjacent

Up to 4 storage boxes can be linked for material usage. Please note that if you place 5 or more, or if you place them above or below the crafting table, they will not be recognized as adjacent.

Entrust items to Pokémon skilled at "Storage"

Gulpin and Swalot, who are skilled at "Storage," can store items for you. If you take them along, they can serve as a sub-bag, and if you bring them to a crafting bench, you can even craft using the items you've entrusted to them.

Expanding Your Bag

You can expand the number of items you can carry by purchasing "Bag Organization Tips" at the shop. "Bag Organization Tips" will gradually become available for purchase as you progress through the game.

Purchasing a Sub-Bag is also recommended

It is recommended to purchase a "Sub-Bag" along with the Bag Organization Tips. Using a Sub-Bag adds 10 additional item slots separate from your main bag.

Have Everyone Collect in the Shared Box

By placing a Shared Box, Pokemon skilled at "Sorting" will automatically store items dropped on the ground. This is useful when materials are scattered during land leveling. The recipe for the Shared Box can be purchased at the Shop.

Transporting Processable Materials

If there are processable materials in the Shared Box, Pokemon skilled at "Sorting" will automatically put them into processing facilities such as the Furnace. Make use of this feature if you perform processing frequently.

Give Unwanted Items via Trading

If you have unwanted items, it is recommended to use them in Trading. Trading allows for bartering and lets you consume many items at once, making it convenient when you want to get rid of unwanted items.

How to Move Your Base and the Benefits

How to Move Habitats

Talk to the Pokemon and select "Let's go together" You can also press Up on the D-pad when nearby
Lead the Pokemon to the destination (House/Habitat)
Talk to them near the habitat to suggest moving in

In Pokopia, you can move a Pokemon's habitat by talking to them and leading them to their new location. Since a house or habitat is required as the new "home" beforehand, make sure to prepare one in advance.

Relocation Destinations: Houses and Habitats

Conditions
House・Available space for a Pokemon to live ・Requires 3 or more types of furniture
Habitat・Not already another Pokemon's home ・No disliked things nearby

The only places you can relocate a home to are "Houses (Block Houses/Constructed Houses)" and "Habitats." To move to a house, you must meet the condition of having at least 3 types of furniture placed.

Cannot Move if Disliked Things are Present

Some Pokemon have specific "dislikes." If there is something they dislike near the target habitat, they will refuse to relocate. For example, Fire-type Pokemon like Litwick dislike habitats near water.

Move Your Entire House Using a Moving Kit

Purchase "Moving Kit: Preparation" at the Shop
Place it in front of the house you want to move *Only for houses built using a Construction Kit
Bring the required number of Pokémon Requires Pokémon skilled in Bulldoze
Collect the "Moving Kit: Rebuild" and place it at the destination
Bring the required number of Pokémon Requires Pokémon skilled in Bulldoze

If a house was built using a Construction Kit, you can move the entire house using a "Moving Kit." You can move even if the house is already being used as a residence.

Pokémon and Time Required for Moving a House

MaterialsNot required
TimeFixed at 15 minutes for both dismantling and rebuilding
Required Pokémon CountSame as when building

Moving with a Construction Kit requires at least one Pokémon skilled in Bulldoze. No materials are needed, and dismantling and rebuilding each take a fixed 15 minutes.

Built houses make it easier to increase Comfort, allow for efficiency by placing useful Pokémon near the base, improve Comfort efficiently through adjacency, and let your favorite Pokémon live there.

In Pokopia, moving your residence to a built house makes it easier to increase "Comfort" and allows you to improve efficiency by placing useful Pokémon near your base. Additionally, you can enjoy taking photos while living in the same house as your favorite Pokémon.

Built Houses Make It Easier to Increase Comfort

In Pokopia, moving your home to a built house makes it easier to increase Comfort. In addition to Comfort improving as the house gets larger, you can increase Comfort more efficiently by matching the interior environment to a Pokémon's preferences using furniture and other items.

Increasing Comfort Also Raises the Environment Level

Benefits of Raising the Environment Level
・Affects progress in parts of the story ・Increases items available in shops ・Adds more types of requests

By increasing Comfort, you can also raise the Environment Level. Since the Environment Level not only affects certain parts of the story progression but also expands the shop lineup with useful items like PP Up, focusing on Comfort will make your overall gameplay experience more convenient.

Place Pokémon Near Your Home for Efficiency

Some Pokémon are very useful, such as those that exchange specific items or lead you to the location of a Pokémon you are looking for. By moving them near or inside your home, you can talk to them immediately, improving your efficiency.

Semi-Automate Farming by Placing Habitats

By setting up a habitat near planted seeds and assigning Pokémon skilled at cultivating or watering, you can have them automatically water and grow your plants. Additionally, by planting seeds in a 2x4 grid, you can turn the field itself into a "Fresh Vegetable Patch" habitat.

Efficiently Increase Comfort by Placing Habitats Adjacently

By placing habitats next to each other, the effects of furniture and other items can influence the comfort of multiple habitats at once. This is recommended for Pokémon that share the same likes, as it allows you to increase their comfort efficiently. You can check the range of the comfort effect for a habitat by pressing the R stick.

Let Your Favorite Pokemon Move In

One of the game's charms is being able to have your favorite Pokemon live in the custom home you've built. Since multiple Pokemon can live in a house at the same time, you can also enjoy activities like lining up your favorites to take photos.

How to Make a Farm and Recommended Crops

To create a farm and grow vegetables or plants in Pokopia, you need to learn "Cultivate" and "Water Gun," and have the seeds of the crops you want to grow. Make sure all three are ready before you start farming.

Create a farm on the ground with "Cultivate"

First, use Ditto's move "Cultivate" to turn the ground into a farm. However, you cannot till the ground unless it is moist, so use Water Gun if it isn't. If you plant vegetables in 8 adjacent tiles, it can also be used as a habitat, so it's best to till at least 8 tiles.

"Cultivate" is learned from Drilbur

"Cultivate" can be learned by befriending Drilbur. Since you cannot start farming without "Cultivate," make learning it your goal if you haven't yet.

Plant the seeds of the crops you want to grow

Once the farm is ready, select the crop seeds from your inventory and plant them. If "Plant" is displayed when you stand next to the farm while holding the seeds, you can plant them.

Water them with "Water Gun"

After planting the seeds, use Ditto's move "Water Gun" to water them. The color of the soil becomes darker when watered, so you can easily tell which spots still need watering.

You can have Squirtle and others water for you

It is also recommended to create a habitat near the farm and have Pokemon whose specialty is "Moisten," like Squirtle, move in. By also placing a Water Bucket Water Bucket, the Pokemon will automatically water the crops for you.

You can also make it easier with Sprinkler Sprinklers

If you have a Sprinkler Sprinkler, it will automatically water the surrounding farm tiles. Sprinkler Sprinklers are effective even when planted in the ground, which saves you the one tile space they would normally take up on the surface.

Collect the finished crops from the next day onwards

Crops are not finished immediately; you need to wait for them to grow. They grow one stage every day at 5:00 AM, so collect the finished crops from the next day onwards.

**Bulbasaur

Beans are recommended for efficient mining

For Pokopia Pokemon crops, it is recommended to prioritize growing Beans. Since they can be used in frying pan dishes that power up Rock Smash, you can gather Iron, which is required in large quantities for crafting.

Wheat is Recommended for Map Exploration

Wheat can be used in bread dishes that power up Cut. This allows you to destroy obstacles like wire mesh walls, so it is recommended when you want to explore the map.

Do Not Create Fields in Separate Locations

The most efficient way to grow crops and vegetables in Pokopia is to group your base fields in one location rather than building them in separate areas. Since field work involves moving around, try to minimize travel time as much as possible.

Grows 1 Stage at 5:00 AM

TypeRequired Stages
Flowers1 Stage

How to Create and Use Water Sources

Create using Water Absorb

Befriend Paldean Wooper and learn Water Absorb. Hold Y + ZR at a location with water. Spit out water where you want to create a water source.

Water sources in Pokopia can be created by befriending Paldean Wooper and having it teach you "Water Absorb." You can befriend Paldean Wooper by progressing through Piplup's requests in Bleak Beach Town.

Learning Water Absorb

Steps to learn Water Absorb:

① Create a waterfall through Piplup's request

Appears as you progress through Piplup's requests

② Use the muddy water near the waterfall to create "Marshy Grassland"

③ Befriend Paldean Wooper and listen to its request

④ Give Paldean Wooper 3 Tomatoes to learn Water Absorb

Progress through Piplup's requests in Bleak Beach Town to befriend Paldean Wooper. After becoming friends, complete Paldean Wooper's subsequent requests to learn "Water Absorb."

Tomatoes to give to Wooper can be collected from nearby fields

The Tomatoes needed for Wooper's request can be quickly collected by directing water to the nearby fields. Initially, there is a wall blocking the water flow, so break the wall to let the water through.

Hold Y + ZR at a location with water

Once you learn Water Absorb, hold Y (to suck in) and press ZR at a location with water or other liquids to store the water.

Spit out water where you want to create a water source

Move to the location where you want to create a water source while holding the liquid, then spit it out. The liquid will spread around, creating a water source.

You can also create water sources using drinks from vending machines

Water sources created from vending machine drinks:

Fresh Water → Water

Soda Pop → Sea Water

Moomoo Milk Coffee → Muddy Water

Absorbing Water Sources with Water Absorb

Water sources in Pokopia can be removed by re-absorbing the tile where liquid was spat out. Once created, water sources will not disappear naturally.

Placing Blocks on Water Sources

Water sources can also be removed by placing blocks. If you place a block to overwrite the tile where the liquid was discharged, the water source will disappear.

Use items exclusive to water areas / Automate field watering / Create habitats that require water / Discharge water sources to hydrate areas / Create waterfalls / Remove elevation differences in water sources

Creating water sources with Pokopia Pokemon offers various benefits, such as being able to use items exclusive to water areas or making field watering possible. It's also useful to remember that you can hydrate a wide area this way.

Use Water-Exclusive Items

Creating water sources increases the number of water areas, allowing you to use water-exclusive items such as sprinklers and fountains.

Generate Electricity with Waterwheels

Waterwheels, which are water-exclusive items, can generate electricity once placed. Since you can power items like lamps and streetlights to turn them on, use them whenever you want to generate electricity.

Automate Watering Your Fields

If the area where you planted crop seeds is adjacent to water, you can grow crops without them withering. Since water is constantly supplied, you can save the effort of watering them with Water Gun.

Create Habitats That Require Liquids

Once you are able to create water sources, you can place habitats that require water areas in any location you like. Since you can use "Water Storage" to turn not only water but also magma and hot springs into sources, be sure to utilize this when creating habitats and dwellings.

Hydrate by Spitting Out Water Sources

By spitting out a water source, you can easily hydrate a wide area. It is significantly more efficient than Water Gun, so keep this in mind. Additionally, any water source you have spat out can be recovered by sucking it back in.

You Can Create Waterfalls

Creating a water source in a high place will turn it into a waterfall. Using the move "Waterfall" on a waterfall allows you to ascend quickly, making it a useful way to travel from lower to upper levels. However, "Waterfall" cannot be used on magma.

Learn Waterfall through Gyarados's Request

You can learn Waterfall by becoming friends with Gyarados and completing its request. Gyarados is located in an area of Sparkling Floating Island reachable by "Gliding," so if you haven't unlocked it yet, continue progressing through the story.

Eliminating Water Source Elevation Differences

When you suck up a water source, it may leave a hole. This can be fixed using a water source; by placing it at sea level while the water level is lowered, you can eliminate the elevation difference.

Necessary for Progressing through Bleak Beach Town

In Pokopia, electricity is required to progress through the story of Bleak Beach Town. Since you need to provide power to operate facilities like streetlights, make sure to remember the process of generating power with a Generator and connecting it via utility poles to supply electricity.

  • Bleak Beach Town Walkthrough
  • "Light Up the Town" Walkthrough and Rewards

How to Conduct Electricity / Power Generators

Power Electricity via Pokémon or Power Generators

In Pokopia, electricity can be supplied by generating it with a Power Generator and distributing it through utility poles, or by using Pokémon skilled at "Generate Power." It is recommended to use Power Generators for facilities you want to use continuously, while Pokémon are ideal for powering things up quickly and easily.

Powering with a Generator

Place a Power Generator to generate electricity. Connect Utility Poles from the generator to provide power.

Place a Power Generator to generate electricity

First, place a Power Generator to start generating power. You can purchase the Power Generator crafting kit from the PC at the Pokémon Center. Once placed, gather the necessary materials to complete the construction and start generating electricity.

Obtain the Utility Pole recipe at Gloomy Beach

The Utility Pole recipe can be obtained from the yellow ball in front of the Thermal Power Generator at Gloomy Beach.

Connect Utility Poles from the Power Generator to provide power

In Pokopia, electricity is generated by a Power Generator and can be used by connecting Utility Poles to transmit power to facilities. If the power lines are visible, the power is flowing.

There are limits to the transmission distance

Power Generator to Utility Pole: 7 tiles

Mini Power Generator to Utility Pole: 10 tiles

Utility Pole to Streetlight: 10 tiles

Utility Pole to Utility Pole: 15 tiles

There are limits to how far the power can reach. Power can reach up to 7 tiles from a Power Generator to a Utility Pole, 10 tiles from a Mini Power Generator to a Utility Pole, 10 tiles from a Utility Pole to items like streetlights, and up to 15 tiles from one Utility Pole to another.

Mini Power Generators and Wireless Power Transmitters Save Space

In Pokopia, you can also transmit electricity by combining Mini Power Generators and Wireless Power Transmitters. Since Mini Power Generators require no power source and Wireless Power Transmitters can conduct electricity even through obstacles, both serve as space-efficient equipment.

Wireless Power Transmitters are Rewards for Clearing Porygon's Requests

The recipe for the Wireless Power Transmitter in Pokopia can be obtained as a reward for completing Porygon's requests.

Housing Pokémon Skilled at Power Generation

If you house Pokémon skilled at power generation near facilities that require electricity, they will power up those facilities and objects for you.

Power Provided by Pokémon Disappears Over Time

Electricity provided by Pokémon will turn off after a certain amount of time. If you want to keep things powered constantly, it is recommended to use power generators and utility poles.

GeneratorMaterialsFeatures
Miniitem Pokemetal 1 tile, no power source, Sparkling Skylands Env. Lv6, connections: 5 (min)
Thermalitem Iron Bar , item Sea Glass Shard High output, needs fuel, connections: 30 (max)
Winditem Lumber , item Lint Varies by height, needs poles, connections: 10
Hydroitem Lumber , item Stone Becomes habitat, needs water, connections: 20

There are four types of power generators in Pokopia: Mini Power Generator, Thermal, Wind, and Hydro. Since each has different required materials and usability, choose the one that best fits your location and needs.

Mini Power Machines are Convenient

Mini Power Machines can be placed without a kit, take up only one tile of space, and require no power source, making them easier to handle than the other three types of power machines. However, be aware that they have the lowest capacity, allowing only up to 5 machines to be connected at once.

Unlocked at Sparkling Floating Island Town Environment Level 6

The recipe for the Mini Power Machine is sold in the shop once you reach Environment Level 6 in "Sparkling Floating Island Town." Since the recipe is acquired late in the game, use other power machines until then.

Thermal Power Requires Fuel

Thermal Power Generators are facilities that generate electricity by consuming fuel. While they allow for the highest number of simultaneous connections at 30 machines, they require a continuous supply of fuel. They are suitable for when you want to secure a large and stable supply of electricity.

Wind Power Generation Amount Changes with Height

The amount of power generated by wind power changes depending on the height. By placing wind turbines in locations where wind-like effects appear on the screen, you can operate them at maximum efficiency.

At Maximum Efficiency, Power Generation is Equal to Hydroelectric Power

When operated at maximum efficiency, Wind Power Generators produce the same amount of power as Hydroelectric Power Generators. Since they don't require fuel, they are easy-to-use power generation facilities if you can find a windy location.

Hydroelectric Generators Require a Water Source

To use a Hydroelectric Generator, you must secure a water source. Additionally, Hydroelectric Generators also function as habitats.

Learn Water Absorb to Create Water Sources

You will be able to create water sources freely by progressing through Paldean Wooper's requests, allowing you to place them wherever you like.

Generator and utility pole are not connected / Generator is not operating / Insufficient power

If electricity is not flowing in Pokopia, there could be several causes. In addition to adjusting the position of utility poles, check if the generators are running and increase the number of units if necessary to secure enough power.

What is Needed to Run Facilities

Electricity in Pokopia is an element used to operate facilities such as streetlights and vending machines. Electricity can be generated using power generation machines or Pokemon skilled at "Power Generation."

Uses for Electricity
Main facilities that use electricityHabitats that use electricity

If it's glowing, it's powered

Number of machines that can be connected to a Power Generator simultaneously:

Thermal Power Generator: Up to 30

Hydroelectric Power Generator: Up to 20

Wind Power Generator: Up to 10

Mini Power Generator: Up to 5

When power is flowing, power lines will appear between the power generator, utility poles, and equipment, and the tops will glow. If the power lines are disconnected or the tops are not glowing, electricity is not reaching that location, so adjust the position of the utility poles.

Does not function if power is insufficient

If electricity is insufficient, equipment may not operate properly. When running multiple pieces of equipment, adjust by adding more power generators.

Necessary for Important Requests

Bleak Beach Town Story

In Pokopia, electricity is required to progress through the story of Bleak Beach Town. Since you need to power facilities like streetlights, remember the process of generating power with a Power Generator and connecting it via Utility Poles to provide electricity.

How to Increase Moisture

Hydrate the ground to turn it into Grassland / Hydrate withered grass and trees / Create water spots like ponds

In Pokopia, the ways to increase moisture are "hydrating the ground to turn it into Grassland," "hydrating withered grass and trees," and "creating water spots like ponds."

Hydrating the Ground to Create Grass

When you hydrate dry ground with moves like Water Gun, the grass will return. As the amount of grass increases, the moisture level will also rise. In addition to Water Gun, you can also hydrate the ground by having rivers flow nearby or by making it rain.

  • How to Change the Weather and Its Effects

Watering Withered Grass and Trees

Grass and trees growing on dry ground are withered, but they can be revived by watering them with moves like Water Gun. As the vegetation increases, the hydration level will also increase.

Creating Water Features like Ponds

Creating water features like ponds on the field also increases moisture. In addition to breaking blocks where water is leaking to create springs, once you learn "Water Storage," you can create water sources and build ponds from scratch.

Spraying water with Water Gun | Creating springs | Placing fountains | Creating the "Flower-filled Scenery" habitat | Creating the "Rain Dance Spot" habitat

To get 100 points for Slowpoke's Yawn, the methods are: "Spraying water with Water Gun," "Creating springs," "Placing fountains," and "Creating the specified habitats."

Necessary to Complete Slowpoke's Important Request

By increasing the moisture of Pokoa Pokémon, you can complete Slowpoke's "Important Request." Increase their moisture by watering them until they can produce a 100-point yawn, or by completing Pokémon's requests.

Comfort Increases for Pokémon that Like Moisture

Increasing moisture will improve the comfort of Pokémon that prefer a "Moist" environment. As their comfort increases, the area's Environment Level will also rise.

Place a Smooth Rock / Use Sunny Day to make it sunny

In Pokopia, the methods to dry out the environment are "Place a Smooth Stone" and "Use Sunny Day to make it sunny." This allows you to increase the comfort of Pokémon that prefer a dry environment.

Placing a Smooth Rock

Placing the item "Smooth Rock" will force the surrounding area to become dry. This is recommended when you want to quickly change a Pokémon habitat's environment to dry.

Make it Sunny with Sunny Day

Create the "Sunny Day Spot" habitat and bring a Pokemon skilled at Burn, and they will make it sunny with Sunny Day. While it is sunny due to Sunny Day, Slowpoke's Yawn will result in 0 points.

Methods and Benefits of Drying

There are two methods to dry things in Pokopia: "Place a Smooth Stone" or "Make it sunny using Sunny Day."

Placing Smooth Rock

Placing an item called Smooth Rock will forcibly dry the surrounding area. It is recommended when you want to quickly dry the environment of a Pokémon's habitat.

Make it Sunny with Sunny Day

How to change the Teru Teru Castform

The Teru Teru Castform is set to the rain state by default. After placing it, you can interact with it to flip it over and switch it to the sunny state.

Comfort Increases for Pokémon that Prefer Dry Environments

The benefit of drying in Pokopia is that it increases the comfort of Pokémon that prefer a "Dry" environment.

Keep Them Away from Pokémon that Prefer Moist Environments

In a dry environment, the comfort of Pokémon that prefer being "Moist" will decrease. Since their habitats will conflict if they are close, try to keep the habitats of Pokémon with different preferences as far apart as possible.
