Pokemon Pokopia Share Device: How to Get Shared Storage

How to get and use the Share Device in Pokemon Pokopia. Unlock its recipe through Palette Town's environment level, share items between towns, and understand the separate Cloud Island network.

The Share Device is a free Ver. 2.0.0 storage item. Items placed in one Share Device can be taken from another Share Device in a different town, making it useful for moving building materials without carrying them yourself.

How to Get the Share Device Recipe

Raise Palette Town's environment level after updating to Ver. 2.0.0. The Share Device recipe then becomes available to buy at Pokemon Center shops. The exact unlock point depends on your town progress, so continue improving habitats and town comfort if it is not yet in the shop.

How Shared Storage Works

  1. Craft and place a Share Device in a town where you collect or craft materials.
  2. Put the items you want to move inside it.
  3. Place another Share Device in a different town.
  4. Open the second device to take out the same stored items.

This makes one shared stockpile practical for projects that span several towns. Put a device near a crafting table at each active building site so materials stay within reach.

Cloud Island Has a Separate Network

Share Devices placed on Cloud Island only share contents with other Share Devices on Cloud Island. They do not connect to devices in Palette Town or the other towns. Keep a separate supply there before starting a large Cloud Island build.

Share Device vs. Storage Boxes

Regular Storage Boxes, including Big Storage Boxes, are for holding more items at one location. The Share Device solves a different problem: accessing the same items from another town. Use boxes to organize a local workshop, and use Share Devices as links between workshops.
