Starmie Doll: How to Get It, Bubbly Basin Dream Island & Phione

The Starmie Doll is a reusable DLC key item for the Bubbly Basin Dream Island. Place it and examine it to call Drifloon; Drifloon can take you to the underwater Dream Island, where Phione can appear in the underground area at low probability.

How to Get the Starmie Doll

1. Enter Bubbly Basin and raise its Environment Level to 3 by building habitats, improving Pokemon comfort, and completing requests.
2. Once it appears, speak to Frillish and accept its request.
3. Equip the Dowsing Machine and search with Frillish in Bubbly Basin.
4. Dig up the Starmie Doll from the marked spot.

You cannot break the block containing the doll before Frillish appears, so reaching Environment Level 3 and taking its request are required.

How to Use the Starmie Doll

Place the doll, inspect it, and show it to Drifloon. It opens the route to the Bubbly Basin Dream Island. The doll is not consumed, so you can use it again on later visits.

Find Phione on the Underwater Dream Island

Phione is a DLC Mythical Pokemon, listed as D-049. It is not a habitat spawn: search the underground area of the Bubbly Basin Dream Island after travelling there with the Starmie Doll. Its encounter chance is low, so repeat visits may be needed.
