Expansion Pass (Paid DLC)

The Expansion Pass costs ¥4,400 and is delivered in three waves:

Free Update (August 2026)

Alongside the paid pass, a free update arrives in August 2026:

  • Adds the Diving move (ダイビング), letting your Ditto stay underwater for long periods
  • Unlocks building in a new underwater world
  • Requirement: reach a certain point in the story before Diving becomes available (full unlock conditions will be confirmed when the update releases)

This free portion is available to all players — you do not need the Expansion Pass to use Diving.

Yes. The base game already includes the main story, multiplayer, Dream Islands, Pokémon collecting, and building. The Expansion Pass adds new areas and content on top — the underwater town, new features, and a future town — rather than completing a missing part of the game.
