You can also go from the Bleak Beach gate

You can also reach Sparkling Skylands Town from the north gate of Bleak Beach Town. Since the bridge to the north gate has collapsed, create a foothold using blocks.

Talk to Tangrowth as you proceed

Once you enter the town of Sparkling Skylands, follow the path while talking to Tangrowth.

Cross to the opposite shore from the yellow lift platform

You can reach the opposite shore by stepping onto the yellow platform located in the back. If you board before Tangrowth instructs you to do so, Tangrowth will not follow you, so wait for the instruction before using it.

Talk to Rookidee in front of the Pokemon Center

There is a Rookidee in front of the Pokemon Center, so go ahead and talk to it. After talking to Rookidee, check the PC inside the Pokemon Center to progress the story.

Raise the Environment Level to 3 (Can be done as you progress)

To accept Tangrowth's request, let's raise the Environment Level to 3. You don't need to do it immediately; it's fine to work on it as you progress through the story. You can raise it efficiently by picking up sparkles on the island to create new habitats and increasing the number of undiscovered Pokemon.

Create Froakie's Habitat and Listen to the Story

Once you create Froakie's habitat, "Moist Pink Grassland," and meet Froakie, wait a short while and a speech bubble saying "Come to think of it..." will appear. Talking to it in this state will allow you to get information about Dragonite's habitat.

Creating Dragonite's Habitat

Let's create the Dragonite habitat you heard about from Froakie. There is a boat on the hill to the right of the Pokémon Center, so it is recommended to use that.

Floating weeds can be grown with powered-up Leafage

The floating weeds required for Dragonite's habitat, "Small Boat by the Water's Edge," can be grown by using a powered-up "Leafage." You can power up Leafage by crafting a Cutting Board at a nearby crafting pedestal, then making and eating a Sasa Salad.

Glide with Dragonite to the Neighboring Island

Dragonite will appear after you create a habitat and wait for a while. After talking to it and becoming friends, have it teach you "Glide" and fly together to the neighboring island.

Talk to Tinkaton on top of the building and accept the request

Climb the structure on the island you reached by gliding and talk to Tinkaton at the top. An event will trigger, and you will be tasked with collecting 6 pieces of concrete.

Create a Conkeldurr Habitat on the Original Island

You will need Conkeldurr to produce Concrete. The "Thermal Power Machine" used for the habitat is already installed on the original island, and other materials are also available in the back. Combine the materials to build the habitat.

Making Concrete with the Concrete Mixer

Talk to Conkeldurr to obtain the recipe for the Concrete Mixer used in making concrete. Place it near the water, add the "Limestone" material, and then bring Conkeldurr over to have it create the concrete.

Craft 2 Extra Iron Ingots

You will need a total of 2 "Iron Ingots" later in Tinkaton's story. It's best to craft 2 extra ones while you are at the stage of making the Concrete Mixer.

Limestone Can Be Found on Tinkaton's Island

Limestone, the material for concrete, can be found on the island where Tinkaton was. It can be obtained by breaking the white blocks with striped patterns.

Give the Concrete to Tinkaton

Give the Concrete to Tinkaton. Next, she will ask for "Iron Ingots," so if you made extras in the previous step, you can hand them over right away.

Hand over the Iron Ingot and wait for the Gear to be completed

When you hand over the Iron Ingot to Tinkaton, you will be told to wait while the gear is being made. If you cannot wait for it to be finished, you can complete it immediately by changing the time on your Switch 2.

Receive the Tinkagear and Follow Behind

Receive the completed Tinkagear and follow Tinkaton. Once you reach the destination, you will be asked to build a "Lift Station."

Install the Lift Station at the designated location

The materials for the Lift Station are "Tinkaton Gear," "Iron Ingot," and "Concrete," all of which are materials that can be obtained by this point. If you have the required amount, craft it at a nearby crafting table and install the Lift Station at the designated location.

Take Tinkaton to the Pokemon Center

Take the lift to bring Tinkaton to the front of the Pokemon Center. When moving Pokemon via the lift, as long as you have "Let's go together" selected, it's fine to get on first; the Pokemon will follow and board the lift after you.

Talk to Tangrowth in front of the Pokemon Center

Talk to Tangrowth after the conversation event with Tinkaton. If your Environment Level has not reached 3 at this point, the event will not trigger. If it is insufficient, you will need to raise your Environment Level before talking to them again.

Investigating the Building with Tinkaton

Head to the island with the giant building together with Tinkaton, and investigate the 2nd to 4th floors in order. Go up using the stairs at the back, and the event will progress by talking to Tinkaton on each floor.

Return to the front of the building and talk to Tinkaton

Once you have finished investigating up to the 4th floor, talk to Tinkaton in front of the building. Talking to Tinkaton will start the important request "Let's Build a Giant Building" to rebuild the building you investigated.

Summary of Required Materials for Building Construction

When constructing a skyscraper, it is efficient to collect the materials for all floors beforehand. Please note that you will need to bring "Chefbalis" and "Usuchu," who are required for construction, after the events on each floor.

Collect Materials and Pokémon for the Building's 2nd Floor

First, collect the materials and Pokémon needed to construct the 2nd floor of the building. Concrete and Glass will be required for future construction as well, so it's efficient to prepare plenty in advance.

Obtain Glass and Pokemetal at Sparkling Skylands

Glass required for building construction can be found on the northeast island, and Pokemetal can be obtained in the underground cave of the house on the east side. You can reach the underground cave smoothly by heading to the eastern island and talking to Gardevoir to accept their request.

Obtain Iron Ingots from Rocky Ridges Town

You can obtain "Iron" from the mine in Rocky Ridges Town. At the same time, collect 10 each of "Copper" and "Shiny Stone," which will be required in the next part of the guide.

Collect Materials and Pokemon for Building 3F

After collecting the materials to build Building 2F, let's collect the materials and Pokemon to build Building 3F in the same way. For the free slot Pokemon, you can keep the Pokemon you brought for the 2F construction as they are and just bring 3 additional ones.

Construction with Chef Greedent from Rocky Ridges

Bring Chef Greedent from the town of Rocky Ridges, who is required for building the 3rd floor of the building, to proceed with construction. To reach Chef Greedent, exit the Pokémon Center in the town of Rocky Ridges and head left.

Gathering Materials and Pokémon to Build the 4th Floor

After gathering the materials for the 3rd floor, let's collect the materials and Pokémon needed for the 4th floor and start building. The 4th floor will be the final construction.

Paper Can Be Obtained by Befriending Metang

The Paper used for building the 4th floor can be obtained by befriending Metang and giving it "Paper Trash," which it will recycle into "Paper." Trash is found scattered around the town of Kirakira Floating Island, and Metang can be summoned in the habitat "Studying to Become a Professor."

Building by bringing Usu-chu from Gloomy Beach

Bring the Usu-chu needed to build the 4th floor of the building from the town of Gloomy Beach and proceed with construction. You can find Usu-chu by heading to the location of the final power generator.

Examine the Master Ball on the 4th Floor Rooftop

Once you have built the building up to the 4th floor, head to the rooftop and examine the Master Ball. Mewtwo will emerge from inside, be registered to your Pokedex, and your Trainer Rank will rise to Master.

Return to the front of the building and talk to Tangrowth to clear the request

Return to the front of the building and speak with Tangrowth to complete the Important Request "Let's Build a Giant Building."

Take on the Recruitment Challenge after clearing the story

After clearing the story of Sparkling Skylands Town, you will be instructed to examine the Sand Lighthouse in the Withered Wastelands. Examining the Sand Lighthouse allows you to take on the "Recruitment Challenge."
