How to Make Concrete in Pokémon Pokopia: Mixer & Limestone
Learn how to make Concrete in Pokémon Pokopia. Craft the Concrete Mixer, farm Limestone efficiently, use a Crush Pokémon, and see how much Concrete every kit needs.
Author: Pokopia Guide Team
Concrete is one of the most-needed building materials in Pokémon Pokopia. You'll burn through it building houses, lift stations, elevators, and the larger town kits. This guide covers how to make Concrete, where to farm Limestone fast, and exactly how much Concrete each recipe needs.
How to Make Concrete
Concrete is produced by putting Limestone into a Concrete Mixer. Three things are required:
- A crafted Concrete Mixer
- The mixer placed next to water
- A Pokémon with the
Crush specialty (such as Conkeldurr) in that town
Add Limestone to the mixer, bring over your Crush Pokémon, and it will grind the Limestone into Concrete.
The mixer only works when placed next to water. If nothing happens, check that it's at the water's edge and that a Crush Pokémon lives in that town.
How to Get the Concrete Mixer
The Concrete Mixer recipe is learned during the Sparkling Skylands story, when you accept Conkeldurr's request. Once unlocked, craft it at a workbench and you can make as many mixers as you need.
Tip: Crafting multiple Concrete Mixers lets you process several batches of Limestone at once — the single biggest time-saver for bulk Concrete.
Where to Find Limestone
Limestone is the bottleneck for Concrete, so knowing the best sources matters:
| Location | Notes |
|---|---|
| Rocky Dream Island | Most efficient — use the Clefairy Doll, resets daily |
| Rocky Ridges Town | Inside the hot spring cave |
| Sparkling Skylands | Southeast of Tinkmaster's house |
Limestone comes from breaking the white striped rocks with Rock Smash.
Best Way to Farm Limestone (and Concrete)
The fastest method is farming Rocky Dream Island:
- Use the Clefairy Doll with Drifloon to travel to Rocky Dream Island
- Break all the Limestone rocks and collect everything
- Return home and feed it into your Concrete Mixers
- Come back the next day — the island resets at 5:00 AM, so Limestone respawns
If you don't want to wait, change the date on your Nintendo Switch 2 to refresh the island and farm again immediately.
How Much Concrete You Need
Concrete is required in large amounts as you progress. Some key recipes:
| Recipe | Concrete Needed |
|---|---|
| House Foundation | 1 |
| White Line Path (vertical / horizontal) | 2 each |
| Lift Station | 5 |
| Elevator Station | 8 |
| Yellow Hut Kit | 10 |
| City House Kit | 20 |
| Grand City Kit | 25 |
Because the bigger kits each need 10–25 Concrete, it pays to stockpile Limestone early.
Quick Tips
- Build multiple Concrete Mixers — process Limestone in parallel
- Farm Rocky Dream Island daily — the most reliable Limestone source
- Keep a Crush Pokémon in town — Conkeldurr is the standard choice
- Place mixers at the water's edge — they won't run otherwise
- Stockpile before big builds — the Grand City Kit alone needs 25 Concrete
