Copper Ore is a key mining material in Pokémon Pokopia, used to craft the Pokémon Center rebuild kit, the Fountain Plaza kit, and Scrap blocks. It's smelted into Copper Bars for higher-tier recipes. This guide covers where to find Copper Ore, how to mine it efficiently, and how to process it.

Where to Find Copper Ore

Copper Ore is mined from copper-bearing rocks — gray boulders with orange-brown copper veins running through them. There are two main locations:

Each copper rock you break drops Copper Ore that you pick up with Y.

The most efficient method is mining at Rocky Dream Island:

1. Find or obtain the Clefairy Doll (Piepi Doll) and show it to Drifloon to travel to Rocky Dream Island
2. Eat a Hamburger Steak to power up Rock Smash and Rollout for faster mining
3. Use Rollout to plow through copper deposits on the ground and inside the island quickly
4. Break wall-mounted copper rocks with Rock Smash
5. Return the next day — Dream Islands reset at 5:00 AM, so the copper respawns
