Pokopia Halloween Event: Pumpkaboo’s Sweet Surprises
Pumpkaboo’s Sweet Surprises runs from October 17, 2026, at 05:00 to November 1, 2026, at 04:59, using local time. Befriend Pumpkaboo, surprise Pokémon to collect pumpkin candy, and exchange it for spooky furniture. The event also gives you a way to meet Gourgeist.
Prepare before collecting candy
- Rebuild a Pokémon Center: Pumpkaboo waits near rebuilt Centers during the event.
- Learn Camouflage from Zorua in Bleak Beach. You need the move to disguise yourself as objects and surprise Pokémon.
- Leave room for the furniture you want to place, and check the event dates against your console’s local clock.
Pumpkin candy: the event loop
- Visit a rebuilt Pokémon Center during the scheduled period and befriend Pumpkaboo.
- Use Camouflage to turn into an object.
- Surprise other Pokémon while disguised to receive pumpkin candy.
- Return to the Pokémon Center counter and exchange candy for event furniture and decorations.
- Use the event furniture to create the habitat that attracts Gourgeist.
How to get Gourgeist
Gourgeist is attracted by an event-furniture habitat. Collect the necessary furniture through the candy exchange and follow the habitat’s placement hint. Befriend Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist through their separate encounter methods.
Both Pokémon remain in town after the event ends once you have befriended them. Finish your furniture exchanges within the event window.
If the event will not start
Check the start and end times first, then visit a rebuilt Pokémon Center. If you can meet Pumpkaboo but cannot collect candy, finish Zorua’s Camouflage request and try the disguise interaction.
A Mystery Gift password is not the way to start this event. Codes are entered separately at the PC; pumpkin candy comes from the event activity.
