Built a house in the wrong spot? No need to demolish it and waste materials. Pokémon Pokopia lets you relocate buildings using a Relocation Kit, and you can change which building is your home at any time with a Ditto Flag.
How to Move Small Buildings
For small structures, you can pick them up directly:
- Walk up to the building and face it
- Hold down the A button
- Your character will lift the building
- Carry it to the desired location and place it down
This only works for small player-built structures like basic Pokémon houses.
How to Move Large Buildings with a Relocation Kit
Larger structures require a
Relocation Kit. This is the safest way to move buildings without losing materials.
Steps:
- Craft or purchase a Relocation Kit
- Place it directly in front of the building you want to move
- Assign a Pokémon with the
Bulldoze specialty to the kit - The Pokémon will prepare the building for relocation
- Choose the new location to place the building
Important: Only player-built structures can be relocated. Pre-existing world structures like the lighthouse cannot be moved.
Pokémon with Bulldoze Specialty
You need a Pokémon with the
Bulldoze specialty to operate a Relocation Kit.
| Pokémon | Type | Specialties |
|---|---|---|
| Munchlax | Normal | Bulldoze |
| Bonsly | Rock | Bulldoze |
| Makuhita | Fighting | Bulldoze, Build |
| Hariyama | Fighting | Bulldoze, Build |
| Onix | Rock / Ground | Bulldoze, Crush |

| Tyranitar | Rock / Dark | Bulldoze, Crush |
| Trapinch | Ground | Bulldoze, Litter |

Relocation Kit vs. Demolition Kit
| Item | What It Does | Materials Lost? |
|---|---|---|
Relocation Kit | Moves the building to a new spot | No |
Demolition Kit | Destroys the building entirely | Yes |
Always use a Relocation Kit if you just want to reposition a building. Only use a Demolition Kit if you want to remove a structure completely.
How to Set Your Home with a Ditto Flag
Your "home" in Pokopia is whichever building has a
Ditto Flag placed outside it. This determines your Return Home fast travel destination.
Crafting a Ditto Flag
| Material | Quantity |
|---|---|
Sturdy Stick | 1 |
Twine | 1 |
| Leppa Berry | 1 |
How to Use It:
- Craft the Ditto Flag at a crafting station
- Place it outside any Pokémon house you've built
- That building becomes your designated home
To change your home, simply pick up the Ditto Flag and place it outside a different building.
Return Home Fast Travel
Once you've set a home with a Ditto Flag, you can fast travel back to it at any time:
- Open the menu
- Select Return Home
- You'll be teleported to your designated home
This is especially useful when exploring far from your base or after gathering resources in remote areas.
