Pokopia Zorua Hide-and-Sneak Contest
The Zorua Hide-and-Sneak Contest was a limited-time Pokémon Pokopia event held from July 19 to July 27, 2026. Players spoke to Zorua outside a Pokémon Center, completed a timed hide-and-sneak challenge, and earned prizes based on their best completion time.
This event has ended. This page preserves its requirements and multiplayer rules. Nintendo's event notice required the system clock to use the real-world time and stated that the event would not occur outside its official dates.

How the Contest Worked
The core objective was speed, rather than collecting event currency or building a habitat. Replaying the challenge let you improve your personal best.
Multiplayer Rules
The contest supported multiplayer both in a player's town and on a Cloud Island.
In Another Player's Town
On a Cloud Island
For multiplayer from your own town, the official instructions specified Palette Town and required the host to speak to Zorua and receive the event details before starting multiplayer.
Helpful Setup Before an Event Run
The contest required the same hide-and-sneak system unlocked through Zorua's Bleak Beach request. Mimic lets Ditto transform into nearby objects, which is the key movement tool for avoiding detection during hide-and-sneak.
Before starting a timed attempt, make sure everyone joining has access to the activity and decide whether you are playing in a host town or on a Cloud Island. The reward owner is different in each mode, so a group should plan around who needs the prize.
Can You Still Play the Zorua Event?
Not through the official event flow. The contest ended on July 27, 2026, and Nintendo stated that it only occurred when the system date was within the official period and matched real-world time.
Zorua's normal request and the hide-and-sneak mechanic remain useful outside the event. See the Ditto Moves Guide for Mimic, or browse the Pokopia Events page for other archived limited-time events.
